The 2017 fiscal year Energy and Water Appropriations bill passed by the U.S. Senate on May 12 includes $100 million for MSU’s FRIB project. MSU officials are pleased with the appropriation, which supports the next phase of the project.
MSU appreciates that FRIB remains a national priority and thanks Sens. Peters and Stabenow for their leadership and unwavering support of the project.
The U.S. House of Representatives is expected to vote soon on its Energy and Water Appropriations bill, which also includes $100 million for FRIB.
