Karin Pfeiffer is a Red Cedar Distinguished Professor in the Department of Kinesiology, and the director of the Institute for the Study of Youth Sports. An exercise physiologist, Pfeiffer's population-based investigations center around two major areas: measurement of physical activity, and interventions to increase physical activity.
